Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) is the most popular NHL 19 game mode, allowing you to create your fantasy lineup and compete online against other players from around the world. Build your team, play your style of hockey, and combine player, team, and coach synergies to defeat your opponents in style. How Ultimate Team Works
PLAYER ITEMS: Thousands of player items are available in HUT 19 from multiple eras of hockey, featuring competitors from leagues like the NHL, SHL, Liiga, OHL, and more. Every player item has an overall rating, which is used to divide them into three base tiers of player items: Bronze, Silver or Gold. These base player items are divided further into two rarity types: Common or Rare. Special player items are also available during HUT campaigns/events, like Team of the Year and The Stanley Cup Playoffs. You can get player items by opening HUT packs, buying and trading on the Auction House, or completing themed HUT Player Sets.
SYNERGY: HUT delivers a unique team building system that challenges you to combine player strengths across your whole lineup to activate in-game attribute boosts. Match players and coaches with synergies and earn stat boosts across the team.
PACKS, POINTS, AND COINS: Purchase HUT Packs using NHL Points, which are available for purchase on your console and select retailers, or Coins that are earned in-game for playing games, completing HUT challenges, or selling items on the Auction House.
AUCTION HOUSE: The Auction house is where you can buy, trade, and/or sell your HUT items. Use your hard-earned HUT coins to customize your team the way you want or buy and sell hot items for a profit.
