Throughout the world, numerous members of the mallow family (of which cotton is a member) grow. Most species can be found in the tropical and semitropical climates. All species, including Marshmallow, contain an abundance of mucilage - an indigestible fiber that absorbs water & heat. It has been used historically for respiratory support and to soothe inflamed mucous membranes. Each capsule contains 450 mg marshmallow root. Take 1 capsule with a meal twice daily.
