Here is my first ever attempt at Landmark Astrophotography! I'd studied the needed technique 6 years ago and the theoretical data rattled around in my head all that time, but I never had the right gear for it. I finally took a deep breath and spent the large sum needed and last night went out with my friend Alex to shoot this local famous bridge, and I love how it came out! This image was taken at night, and is a blend of 4 individual photographs stitched together, each image being a long, 30 second exposure. The town of Franklin is particularly sentimental to me, as it is where, at the age of 20, I sold my very first canvas print and that event launched my career as an artist.
