Polyken 2280 General-Purpose Duct Tape is a polyethylene-coated cloth tape with a natural rubber adhesive. The tape is used for temporary holding amp; bonding, bundling, sealing, patching, for closing amp; reinforcing packaging and for temporary repairs. PolyNash 2280 has a high-tack adhesive which bonds well to a wide variety of smooth and rough surfaces; has a flexible PE backing which conforms well to irregular surfaces and shapes; offers a smooth, consistent unwind providing ease of use in manual applications; its easy-tear cloth provides clean, consistent tears by hand; and it resists twisting amp; curling to provide ease of application reducing waste. Tested in conformance with UL723. Contains no vinyl chlorides and is low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). This product used to be referred to as Polyken GP2280 and Nashua 395 (Polyken and Nashua are both owned by Berry Plastics) and now comes in the following 11 colors: black, blue, brown, burgundy, green, olive drab, red, silver, tan, white and yellow. If not otherwise specified widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 48mm x 55m.
