While her husband is off fighting in the war, Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) has her hands full taking care of her three children (Oscar Steer, Asa Butterfield, and Lil Woods), running the family farm, and refusing the constant entreaties of her brother-in-law (Rhys Ifans) to sell her share of the farm. When two cousins (Eros Vlahos and Rosie Taylor-Ritson) from the city arrive with a healthy disdain for their new surroundings and a better-than-you attitude, things begin to get really out of control.
