Mustard (Sinapis Alba) is an annual plant 25-100 cm high. The stems are stiff-haired, sometimes almost bare, upright, branched at the top. The flowers are pale yellow or white, collected in a multi-flowered racemose inflorescence. The fruit is a pod filled with small, round seeds of a light yellow color. The pods are straight or curved, coarse, tuberous, usually covered with hard protruding hairs. Sinapis Alba blooms in June - July. The fruits ripen in August.
