mt Solids Washi Paper Masking Tape is a masking tape made from Japanese rice paper. It can be torn by hand and is easy to re-position. The tape can be used on paper, objects, and walls. MT Washi tape is semi-transparent so it can be layered for better effect especially in crafting applications. It is also easy to write on so it’s great for making notes or messages. Choose from one of 33 different solid colors or build up a case of mixed colors. The primary differences between standard crepe paper masking tape on washi tape is that washi tape is not as thick as most crepe paper masking tapes so is more conformable and works better on corners and leaves a finer line; also washi tape is waterproof. Please note these rolls come on non-standard 1-1/8 inch diameter cores so they would not fit correctly in a tape dispenser designed to accept 1-inch diameter cores. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 15mm wide. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
