Incredibly detailed for its size, the aircraft is factory assembled, painted and factory decaled. Unlike die-cast models, plastic offers rich scale details with panel lines, rivets, hatches and interiors, to enhance the realism of the model. An attractive display stand is included. The F-84 was the first full service jet fighter after World War II. It saw service through the Korean War, but proved limited by its straight wing design. The later version had more advanced swept wing design. It was the first jet fighter capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
