The famous and remarkable Mr. G Mild Blues Hot Sauce has been making delicious marinades for over 75 years. Mr. G believes that food and music bring people together, and that tradition is carried on in the Mr. G Mild Blues Hot Sauce flavors. This hot sauce is guaranteed to have your family and friends craving for more! Mr. G sauces are flavored with secret spices that create a lemon/vinegar base, with a lusty, rich taste and flavor that lasts. Over the years, Mr. G has been asked countless times by fans, “What should I put this sauce on?” that he now ends up saying, “you can put it on everything!” To start, this sauce is excellent for basting ribs, chicken, lamb, steaks, and especially pulled pork, while still saving room to explore even more Mr. G sauce-inspired culinary ideas. Newly found favorites for the Mr. G Sauces include tacos, beans, salad, and even the occasional Bloody Mary mix! The Mr. G Sauce brand would not be here today if it were not for Mr. G’s grandfather, Maurice Hamilton Sr. In 1946, Maurice founded Maurice’s Real Pit Barbeque in Killeen, Texas, and became the first African American business owner in the area. Maurice served guests from all over the United States at his restaurant, including blues legend B.B. King, President LBJ and his wife Lady Bird Johnson, country music icon Johnny Paycheck, Dallas Texas Blues Legend R.L Griffin, and Mr. Blues himself, Bobby “Blues” Bland, just to name a few. Maurice even made special accommodations for Elvis Presley, his father Vernon, and “The Colonel” Tom Parker. While Elvis was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas in 1958, Maurice allowed Elvis to park his Cadillac behind the restaurant and enjoy their barbeque dinner in peace - away from the crowd of Elvis fans inside the restaurant. The history of Maurice’s Real Pit Barbeque restaurant, and Mr. G’s dedication to his family’s recipes, has been packed into a single 12 oz. bottle, or even a pack of 6!
