The Contento is ETL Listed, meaning it has been extensively tested and certified for safety. The heating element is concealed beyond the stainless steel bottom. All materials in direct contact with water are BPA free. Easy to use - just flip the on and off switch to boil. The LED light on the switch illuminates while heating. The Contento switches off automatically once water is boiling or when the switch is manually flipped off.
