Inspired by contemporary African design these earring are stunning in their combination of blue polymer clay, silver tubes, black neoprene tubing and asymmetrical composition . I created these elegant earrings using a simple design of curved silver wire covered with silver tubes and black neoprene rubber that highlight the hand shaped polymer clay forms. The asymmetrical design of the earrings makes them eye-catching and enhances their modern appeal. Each plate is uniquely shaped and can be moved around the central post - thus allowing for changes in the overall appearance of each piece The silver wire used for these earrings is 20 gauge in thickness. The total length is approximately 2 inches or 5 cm long, the largest polymer clay shape is 1" in diameter, the wire form is 1" at its widest. Being made of rubber and hand shaped polymer clay it an animal free, vegan alternative to leather jewelry. It is also eco-friendly light weight, and unlike leather can get wet and always looks fabulous.
