The Milton 727 1/4" NPT Male "M" style air line end plug is an industry standard component for air compressor systems used in the automotive, farm, commercial and industrial sectors. Made in the USA of case-hardened steel, its rust-resistant and built to last. The 1/4 male air line end plug is offered here for individual purchase, but its also packed in bulk quantities of 10 and 250. The MIL727 is also included in all of its M-style kits, some of which include a reducer, manifold, couplers, fittings and additional plugs. Like all of their products, this Milton male M style component is covered by a 1-year warranty against damage or failure that came as a result of a manufacturing defect. With a maximum air flow of 40 standard cubic feet per minute and inlet pressure of 300 pounds per square inch, this component is popular with home users as well as in professional settings. For a secure fit, use this male air line end plug with A, T and M couplers of the same air handling capacity. It can handle temperatures of up to 250 F, a typical feature of most standard pneumatic ends and couplers. NPT means National Pipe Tapered and is one of the two most common thread types for compressed air systems. NPT plugs require a sealing compound to be applied to threads for a leak-free seal. Some non-hardening compounds support pressurization immediately after application. Those who prefer not to brush liquid onto threads can create an air-tight seal using PTFE tape. Even among parts of varying thread sizes, Miltons match-up system makes compatibility between components a reality for couplers and plugs of the same letter code WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals which is [are] known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
