Answer: It would if u wanted it to, I put mine on my bed, there should be a gap between the bumper and the tailgate that would make the light visible. (2) Question: How do I know whether it will fit for my car? Answer: It's all-purpose, but please measure the tailgate or other place where you're going to put it and make sure the power voltage of your car is between DC 10-16V before order. (3) Question: How does this install? Do you have to screw it into the car? Answer: No screws necessary. It has a super sticky tape already on the back of our tailgate light bar.
