This reducing adapter is a stainless steel 304 pipe fitting with 3/8 inch male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and 1/2 inch female NPT threads on the other end for connecting two pipes of different sizes. It is made from stainless steel 304 for resistance to chloride corrosion and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 302.
