Melatonin is reported to be be an immune system booster. Our melatonin is a chewable tablet with a slight sweet taste. Melatonin inhibits two enzymes needed in the production of Cortisol (a stress Hormone) so it effectively reduces Cortisol levels. It is a well known antioxidant and has been associated with more REM time sleep. When used in conjunction with Lignans it works effectively to reduce Cortisol levels.
