Maya Kaimal’s Organic Surekha Rice has a sweet-earthy taste and separate grains that never stick together. It’s very different from such well-known varieties as Basmati, jasmine, brown or white rice because-unlike other rice-it is ‘parboiled’ before being de-husked. The resulting grains look like White rice but are harder and contain additional nutrients which get forced from the husk into the grains during the steaming process.
