It is a tri-chemistry charger that can charge Li-ion, Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries so it is a tri-chemistry charger it can replace up to 5 chargers. It has built-in circuit protection that helps prevent overheating, short circuits, over-extended charging times, and detects damaged batteries. The smart LED indicator lights on the charger show charging status (Solid Red = Standby, Blinking Green = Charging, Solid Green = Charged, Blinking Red = Abnormal). There are 3 charging stages, Pre-Charge, Constant Charge and Trickle Charge. It is 100% compatible with original manufacturer equipment.
