Each kit contains parts for 3 assemblies. Parts included for each assembly: 3 each-EZ Sap Sack Holders. These are CNC machined from sch. 40 solid wall PVC water pipe. 3 each- Blue vinyl cap for the Sack Holders. These keep out debris and precipitation. 3 each- Heavy weight blue 12.5" x 24" x 5 mil Sap Sacks. These will hold 3 gallons of sap. 3 each- D&G 5/16" black polycarbonate taps. Polycarbonate is an exceptionally strong plastic that retains it strength in low temperatures and deforms without breaking. Your choice of black or blue color. Blue is easier to see against dark bark. These taps can be boiled or steam sterilized at temperature up to 260 F. Use only tap or distilled water for sterilization. 6 each- Cable Ties(Bag Clamps) We supply 120 lb industrial strength ties produced from 100% virgin nylon resin. Cheaper ties that contain reground resin can become brittle and snap in cold dry weather. You will need a cordless drill to install the taps into your trees, and cutters to trim the cable ties.
