Bag of 25 taps. These new 3/16 tree saver taps can be used with tubing or without, no clamp needed when using hose due to barbs on the taps. Just hang plastic milk jug on the tap to catch the sap or run a hose to bucket or main line. A 5/16" drill bit is used to drill the tap hole in the tree, and 3/16 maple tubing fits over the barbed outlet. Natural vacuum can be generated using these taps along with 3/16 tubing and the proper slope. The right setup will yeild MUCH more sap than dripping into buckets or using 5/16 gravity lines. Also much better for your trees than the older style taps that require much bigger holes to be drilled.
