**Large 88mm version** This magnetic camera mount by MagWheels is the easiest & quickest to install and allows you to mount any camera that features a standard tripod mount, onto metallic surfaces.The specially formulated rubber coating protects painted surfaces against scratches, yet still allows the built-in rare earth magnets to create a super strong bond. It is safe to use on cars and will not damage the paint. Please clean the metallic surface prior to mounting the magnet and after removal there will be no damage whatsoever, unlike adhesive mounts that leave glue residues. It's also much safer to use than suction cups, which work great until an air bubble finds it way under the cup and then your camera goes flying off in an instant! This magnetic mount requires 90 lbs pull force to remove, so it will stay FIRMLY in place, even at very high speeds as used during multiple motorsports events. This version comes fitted with a standard tripod mounting stud attachment (1/4" -20 threads), so the camera can be mounted on it directly. It is very safe to use with DSLR cameras with lens, up to 10 lbs (3 kg). For smaller cameras, We recommend our other smaller 66mm version, for up to 5 lbs.
