This comes from the Koroneiki variety olives we use, sourced mainly from small family-owned olive plantations in Crete.
We're able to maintain this flavor by cold press extracting the olives without any filtration or blending.
M.G. PAPPAS Greek Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil is fruity, with herbal notes and reminiscent of the olive tree's wood. Intense Olive flavor with sweet characteristics and soft ending.
