This card features the classic Lund and Browder - Total Body Surface Area measurement tool. This is the gold standard for measurement of Total Burn Surface Area and the only truly accurate tool used for pediatrics. This card is fully licensed and most importantly accurate. When researching this card we found that over 70% of the images available that feature the Lund and Browder chart are inaccurate. The common mistake was that each surface of the hand represented 1.5%. However when you add up the full body the percentage is 101%. The original article where this chart originates however has each surface of both hands equaling 1.25% which add up correctly to 100%.
