Luksyol Clay cooking pots need to be seasoned before use. Soaked in water for 6 hours minimum. Left to dry for 1 hour. Rubbed with oil (olive or any frying oil). Placed in a cold oven and turned the heat on to 350 F / 175 C for 2 hours and left to get cold. Rubbed with oil again. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Use the heat diffuser.
