Lovage is native to the Mediterranean region of southern Europe and Asia Minor and can be found growing throughout central and southern Europe. Its flavour and smell can be described as a mix of celery and parsley, but with a higher intensity of both of those flavours. Lovage Leaf can be brewed like regular tea or can be added to soups, salads, bread and cakes. It can be also used to flavour vodka, beer, liqueur and wines. To make an infusion, steep 1 tsp of the Lovage Leaf in 200ml of boiling water for 5-15 minutes. After this time strain the mixture and drink.
