Pinus Strobus 'Louie' (Louie White Pine) * Full sun * Zones 3-8 * 9' tall * 7' wide * Year-round golden foliage!! Pinus Strobus 'Louie' Has year-round golden foliage! A medium-sized conical form. Winter color is brilliant golden which is brightest at the needle tips. As you receded into less exposed portions, color is yellow-green. Summer color is a wonderful soft golden-green unlike any other pine. When young, it is globose, as it ages, forms a fantastic conical specimen. Introduced by Greg Williams in Vermont.
