Live in Berlin

The lengthy history of SAILOR with bizarre tale from France back in 1970 and revolves around PHIL PICKETT, GEOG KAJANUS, GRANT SERPELL and HENRY MARSH all of which is explained in the comprehensive sleeve notes from RICH WILSON in the 12 page booklet which accompanies this release. Sailor disbanded in1978 and reformed in 1990 when the individual members decided it was time to dust down the Nickelodion and hit the road again. The full reunion concert took place in Germany on 18th May 1991 when the band opened the Bad Segeburg open air festival and encouraged by their generous reception they continued to tour in 1994 yhey had a ""Greatest Hits"" compilation released. This live recording took place in Berlin, Germany during 1995 and captures all the excitement and entertainment of their gig.. Sailor are touring the UK during the Autumn of 2002 and have just finalised a deal for a concert to be filmed for DVD release early 2003.
