Levenhuk LabZZ M4 Stereo Microscope is a lucky find for a young biologist. It provides 40x magnification and yields stereo images of the observed objects. You can explore various specimens: plants, stones, coins, pieces of rock, and much more. Typical prepared slides will be useful as well: you can fix them on the stage with special metal clips.
A binocular head allows observing samples with both eyes. It reduces eye strain and makes long-term researches more comfortable. All lenses are made of high-quality optical glass. The objective lens has 2x magnification, and, combined with two wide-field eyepieces, gives a sharp and contrast image through the field of view. The working distance of this microscope is 75mm.
You can use a built-in illumination to work under poor light conditions. The LEDs are located above the stage and are powered by two AA batteries (not included).
