Laurel & Hardy: The Flying Deuces

One of the funniest Laurel & Hardy features! Ollie falls in love with the innkeepers daughter only to be rejected by his proposal of love. Ollie is forlorn and attempts to drown himself and Stan in the local shark infested waters. An officer of the French Foreign Legion interrupts their plan. He suggest the brilliant idea of joining the legion. What an excellent idea! Stan convinces Ollie he will soon forget the 'girl of his dreams'. Laurel & Hardy enlist in the French Foreign Legion and soon find themselves stationed in Morocco as laundry attendants. Laurel & Hardy must face the unpleasant circumstances that await them when they inform the Legion of their plans to return to civilian life in Paris.
