All of our finished signs are sanded, hand stained, and hand painted. The wood underneath the paint may show through slightly in some places. They are also sealed with a clear coat to preserve them. All of our signs are made with top quality products. All of our signs are sealed with a protective finish so that it can be hung up outside and hold up to the weather. Your sign will also come with a sawtooth hanger. Each sign is carefully hand painted / stenciled for a rustic long-lasting look. No Vinyl is used. We do not cover or hide the natural dents and knots in the wood, as it adds character to your decor. However, each sign is sanded and stained to give it a nice, smooth finish.
