The series tells the story of the dreams, ambitions, and the pursuit of power among the women of the drug trafficking world. Lucrecia, is the wife of Braulio Bermudez, the most powerful and influential drug lord of El Carmen. Lucrecia plays the submissive wife but she is clever and will do anything to keep her man. Bermudez, on the other hand is bored of life with Lucrecia. He turns to younger women -- Violeta, Brenda, Pamela, Renata and Olivia-- to satisfy his whims and needs. Among the luxury, the pomp and excess develops a story, dramatic and poignant about these women who chose badly and now have to pay a heavy price.
