This is a customized version of the large and very detailed nautical chart of Lake Michigan, published by the War Department Corps of Engineers. Illustrated on the map are nautical features that include fog signals and water depths. Major towns, cities, railroads and rivers are also shown. The many chart keys include information on dry docks, canals, magnetic variations, opening and closing dates for navigation (summer-winter) and other interesting facts. We have added tone within the margins of the map to change the dimensions to 24x36, for easier framing! Printed at multiple sizes. (Original map size 33" x 49") The lettering on the smaller prints will be hard to read. Printed on high quality bond paper and also available on canvas.
