We offer the first coffee ever to be grown like wine. Inspired by the family vineyard in California, we developed and patented a process that involves growing coffee on wires the same way winemakers grow grapes. Opening the coffee trees up to sunlight and aeration increases development of the coffee cherries, their ripening, and the natural production of sugar.
Many coffee farmers use observation of the change of color from green to red to determine when to pick coffee cherries. We take a scientific approach, testing the coffee cherries for pH level, sugar concentration and titratable acid before handpicking them at their optimum maturity. For every package, we start with our trellis grown Kona coffee beans and blend them with complementary arabica coffee beans to create the perfect gourmet coffee with a distinctive naturally sweet flavor. To maintain freshness, each package is resealable and has a gas valve to remove excess air. Store it in a cool dark place and don't freeze or refrigerate it. The all purpose ground coffee is easy to brew and in minutes you can enjoy a delicious cup day or night.
