This convenient set contains (1) carbon block cartridge, (1) sediment filter cartridge and (2) replacement o-rings compatible with Watts drinking water system PWDWLCV2. The KW2510G sediment filter is installed 1st in series to provide sediment filtration down to 5 microns. The KW2510LR carbon block filter cartridge is made in the USA and is installed 2nd in series. This filter removes cysts, asbestos, lead, mercury, chlorine and chemicals to provide "bottle quality" water. Change your filters every 6 - 12 months to ensure fresh great tasting water. They are a flawless fit compatible with Watts PWDWLCV2 drinking water system. The KW2510LR is a replacement compatible with Watts filter PWCB10LCV. The KW2510G is a compatible with Watts filter PWMB10M5. The o-rings facilitate a water tight seal between the water filter sump and the water filter head. The most common o-rings used in water filtration are made from Buna N material. Buna N is also commonly referred to as nitrile. This is the ideal choice for cold water filtration because they are inexpensive and have superior performance characteristics.
