The Kimble Kimax KG-33 borosilicate glass, round, Berzelius-style, tall-form, graduated beaker has a slightly flared top with a reinforcing bead and spout, white double-scale markings, and is available in a variety of sizes (100-, 200-, 300-, 400-, and 1000-mL). Tall-form beakers are used for a variety of applications, including titration and mixing. This beaker is made of clear KG-33 borosilicate glass for durability and chemical- and temperature-resistance. It has a white matte-finish marking area designed for use with an ordinary pencil, and meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E960, Type III specifications. KG-33 borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, very high resistance to chemical attack, and heavy walls that minimize the risk of mechanical breakage when heat is applied.
