This 2.3 mm thick blade is composed of approximately 0.5% carbon for added strength and durability. The handle is 5 inches in length, giving the knife a total length of 13 inches. To avoid rust/corrosion, the steel blade also contains 17% chrome material.

Chef's knives are not suitable for cutting frozen foods, as this may cause the blade to lose its sharpness.

The chrome-plated surface of chef's knives does not rust or tarnish quickly and requires minimal maintenance. In addition, cleaning the blade is as simple as washing it with water and mild soap.
