Quinacridone Magenta Oil Stick is made from modifications to the Joules & Joules Quinacridone Magenta ink recipe. In this process, safe proportions of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to ensure a dry outer skin and a solid, creamy consistency on the inside. Quinacridone Magenta has a stronger violet hue than any red-violet pigment and is excellent as a "primary" magenta. It achieves high luminosity tones and provides mixtures of transparent violets. Pigment: Quinacridone Y (PR 122) Vehicle: Safflower Oil and Cold Pressed Linseed Oil. Stabilizers: Beeswax and Carnauba Wax SEMI - OPAQUE PERMANENCE Lightfastness: I (Excellent).
