The Carbon Black Oil Stick is made from modifications to the Joules & Joules Carbon Black paint recipe. In this process, safe proportions of clarified beeswax are added to ensure a dry outer skin and a solid, creamy consistency on the inside. Carbon Black has a bluish black hue, very resistant to light, opaque and with strong coloring power. Pigment: Amorphous carbon (PBk 6) Vehicle: Cold Pressed Linseed Oil. Stabilizers: Beeswax and Carnauba Wax. OPAQUE PERMANENCE Lightfastness: I (Excellent). Degradation processes: Permanent in light and air. It is one of the most stable pigments in existence.
