The Dark Cadmium Red Oil Stick is made from modifications to the Joules & Joules Dark Cadmium Red paint recipe. In this process, safe proportions of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to ensure a dry outer skin and a solid, creamy consistency on the inside. Dark Cadmium Red is a bluish red, smooth in its shades, opaque, very resistant to light and with good coloring power. Pigment: Concentrated cadmium sulfo-selenide (PR 108) Vehicle: Cold Pressed Linseed Oil and Safflower Oil. Stabilizers: Beeswax and Carnauba Wax. OPAQUE PERMANENCE Lightfastness: I (Excellent). Degradation Processes: May fade when frequently exposed to excessive moisture and direct sunlight.
