Joules & Joules inaugurates its new Corpo Denso Line with the color: Titanium White - Corpo Denso. The objective of the Line is to offer a more bodied paint with the same high pigment load as traditional J&J paints. From specialized research on the use of rheological additives and modern stabilizers in oil paints, we arrived at Hydrogenated Castor Oil, a stabilizer/thickener used in several brands of professional paints such as the Dutch Old Holland and the French Le Franc. The paint, which is prepared with Safflower Oil, has a shorter, firmer and thicker paste compared to traditional Joules & Joules paints, in addition to being slightly more matte and having a faster drying time. These characteristics cause the paint to offer more brush or spatula marks when applied to a surface. At the moment, J&J is carrying out tests with other pigments and evaluating the extension of this new Line for future formulations in other colors. Pigment: Titanium dioxide (PW 6).
