Nickel Yellow is a pale lemon yellow, clear, very lightfast, semi-opaque and with low coloring power. It's bright, clean and bright. While softer yellows like Permanent Naples Yellow and Ocher Yellow lean towards the warm side, Nickel Yellow is a cool, greenish yellow. It is an excellent light yellow to compose an earthy palette.
