OUR STORY Jennies is a family owned and operated business located outside of Scranton, PA in a small town called Moosic. The vision for the company began with Gil Shwom, “The Father”, and mentor to the team of bakers. With over 50 years of Food Manufacturing expertise, Gil can operate anything from the mixers to the extruders to the forklifts. Talk about leading by example! The family management has expanded to include Gil’s two daughters, Lainie and Lauren and his son-in-law, Howard. Lainie oversees inside operations, Lauren heads up sales and marketing and Howard runs special projects and e-commerce. With four grandchildren growing faster than Gil can keep up with, he hopes to have the next generation carry on the legacy of Jennies. Macaroons for all!
