- The book has a character named Mr. Rochester. Hes the dashing love interest who locks his wife in an attic.
- It has a protagonist named Jane Eyre. Shes the governess who starts to fall for her boss, Mr. Rochester. Do you think the wife-locked-in-attic thing will turn out to be a dealbreaker for her? (Heres a hint: No it will not.)
