The WR-3's patent-pending design offers three slate layers with an elastic band hinge system for easy "paging" through the slate's five writing surfaces. Lift a layer using its large, easy-access tab and the elastic bands at each end snap it into the fully open position and hold it there. When you're done writing, use the tab to flip the layer back down into place and the elastic hinge holds it securely closed.
The included pencil attaches with stretchy plastic coil and stows in an integrated sleeve attached to the slate's bottom layer. All of these parts are constructed in high-visibility, Neon Yellow plastic, making them easy to spot even in murky water conditions.
Curved shape and Velcro strap make it easy to attach the slate to your arm.
Four replacement elastic bands and one replacement pencil are included.
