The IR sensor cable could be plugged into an IR repeater/extender or A/V extender and serves as the external IR sensor for receiving the command signal emitted from an remote controller.
It could also be plugged into a video equipment that can support IR plug-in such as cable box, satellite receiver, home theater system and serves as an extended IR probe for receiving the input of IR remote control signal. [Note]: Not all audio/video equipments or extender kits offer such IR plug-in. Please check your video equipment first before purchase.
Its paired IR blaster/emitter wire is designed for blasting the IR remote command toward the A/V equipment to be controlled so the audio/video source equipment at distance can perform the commanded tasks such as play, pause, power on/off, volume up/down, channel +-, record and so on.
Each standard package includes 1 of IR remote sensor wire and 1 of IR remote blaster/emitter wires. Each wire has the same length of 6.5 feet.

If you wish to extend these wires for longer cable length in the setup, you can simply use longer 3.5mm or 2.5mm audio extension cables to join with these IR input/output wires for cable extension if needed.
