This model is designed to operate without electricity; it can replace a standard single or multigang wall switch. This timer automatically limits the ON times for heaters, motors, lighting, fans and other fixtures.The Intermatic FF5MH has a 5minute time cycle, the switch configuration is SPST. Also, there are available models with limits of 15, 30 and 60 minutes and 2, 4, 6 and 12 hours. In order to override the automatic shutoff function, this time switch has a Hold feature, and its pressonknob design provides easy and quick installation. This energy efficient autooff timer is CFL compatible.
