1970 GM - A-body, Chevelle, GTO, 442, GS, Monte Carlo, GP, Gas Tank Vent Tube Vapor Filter. Used at the back upper corner of the gas tank to vent the tank. 1 pc. This is the filter that is used on some 69's all 1970 models and all 71 models produced up to dec 1970. In jan 1970 they went to the stand pipe under the back seat. This is for GM cars to vent the gas tank. There are 2 tubes off the back of the tank and this filter is connected to the rubber hoses. This has open cell foam inside to let the tank vent but keep dirt and bugs out. This piece is always broken or yellow with age - now you can replace it. This is an inline tube exact reproduction of the original out of white plastic with the foam inside.
