1964-77 Pontiac V8 Engine Oil Pan Reinforcements. Located at the rear of the oil pan corners to prevent pan leaks 2pc. Pontiac always had a problem with rear oil pan leaks and this was a service replacement item for all 64-69 cars that came in with leaks and in 1970 it was added to all production cars to correct the problem. So all 70-81 V8 Engines had these metal plates and sll the earier cars should have them. They are located at the back corners of the oil pan to stiffen the metal and prevent leaks. This is an exact inline tube reproduction made identical to the originals. These are plated silver zinc. Since there are so many different oil pans light grinding may be required to get a perfect fit. They are a perfect fit on all 70-79 pans.
