I Can Do It Again

Overwind was founded in Krasnodar in the autumn 2013 when four musicians - Anton Emelyanov (guitar), Sergey Krasnozhen (drums), Alexander Chumakov (vocals) and Misha Gigava (bass) started composing music for their new project. The group's debut album, entitled "Illustrator", quickly reached completion and was released in mid-2014 on the M&O Music label (France). Later the same year, Overwind gave several solo performances and went on a joint tour of Russia and Belarus with RAGE (Germany). After this tour, Overwinde returned to studio work on new material. Summer 2015. As part of the "Giant Leap Tour", Overwind gave concerts in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany. In addition, the group participated in the largest festival in Slovakia - "Dobry Festival". Thus, Overwind has been recognized by a new audience and, upon returning home, finished work on their second full-length album. Autumn 2015 release of the second album Level Complete on the Power Prog label (Germany). Special guests on the album were Tim RIPPER Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Yngwie Malmsteen), Peter Peavy Wagner (Rage, Refuge, Lingua Mortis Orchestra), Marco Sfogli (James LaBrie, Alex Argento), Victor Smolski (Almanac, Mind Odyssey, Rage, Lingua Mortis Orchestra). In the spring of 2016, the group played a number of concerts in Russia on the Level Complete Tour (Voronezh, Rostov-on-don, Kursk, Belgorod, Tambov and Moscow). After the tour, the group started working on new material and Max La'Fleur became the new vocalist. Autumn 2016. Overwind released an EP called Fifth Rome and went on a tour of the cities of Russia. 2017. The group is preparing the release of their third full-length album. The vocalist is Diego Teksuo (Spain). The musicians decided to invite vocalists Alexander Grata and Elena Detkova as special guests for the recording of the album.
