The Aglaonema, or Chinese Evergreen, is an aroid native to tropical and subtropical regions from southeast Asia to New Guinea. In its natural habitat it grows in the understory canopies of rainforests. Aglaonema is an excellent houseplant for beginners just starting an indoor plant hobby collection. It is extremely easy to grow and can thrive in a variety of environments from low to brightly lit rooms. Aglaonema are compact slow growing cultivars with lush foliage and come in a variety of unique and striking patterns and color combinations. We top the soil with Spanish moss to keep the soil secured, then wrap the pot with insulated roll paper. Our houseplants are then shipped in recyclable corrugated cardboard boxing including custom recyclable packing tape.
