There is a dusk to dawn sensor inside the bulb, so it will not turn on in the daytime even if it detect motion.

2.The bulb should be installed downward and no higher than 10 feet, or the sensor will not work. To increase the bulb's sensitivity, you can adjust the Angle and Height of the bulb installation, make the sensor toward the direction people are coming.
